Love the Cornish Coast. Here’s one of my oil seascapes of the beautiful Lantivet Beach.
Very excited to have dug out my oil paints. I’ve started painting a few small canvases working from my sketchbook. Here’s the first one. A windswept view of Halberton from the canal path.
Page from my sketchbook of local landscapes.
Happy Friday. A painting showing a view from the Tiverton Canal with Halberton in the distance.
Have a good weekend everyone!
A painting from my sketchbook from late summer along the Tiverton Canal. Just to brighten up a horrible dark November day!
About time I updated the blog. It certainly isn’t the summer term any more! As a bit of a change I thought I’d blog about extra arty stuff I’ve been doing. I try and keep up with my drawing and painting. At the moment I am concentrating on landscapes and colour. Two or three times a week I go running and try and take a landscape photo each time which reflects the time of year, weather and time of day. Also capturing the beautiful Devon countryside as we drive around -normally to football or rugby matches! The colours change constantly.
Here’s todays painting.
In and out of the office a lot recently. What with a poorly child, music concerts, sports days, dance rehearsals, cricket matches, football tournaments, residentials and much more getting enough work done for Nella cards is quite challenging! Saying that we have had a great few weeks … lots of lovely orders and lots more designing to be done before the summer holidays begin.
Our Laissez Lucie Faire range from a lovely company in France is proving very popular and Lucie has been busy doing some more cute designs for us. I’ve been busy working on some neon kids age cards featured in the photo. Can’t wait to get these printed.
Roll on the summer holidays but not before I’ve finished all my designs!
